The artist can give personal input and recommendations on many aspects; such as size, placement, design elements and even subject matter. Don’t hesitate to get our input as it oftentimes helps the decision making process.

    Placement: how will it will look on the body? Consider how you and others will view the Imagery and subject matter. Size: this effects cost, duration and pain Pain tolerance: How tough are you? Pinch yourself real good where the tattoo will go to see what the constant pain of a needle on the skin feels like. Long-term commitment: This is probably the most important consideration. Will you like your decision in 10 years? what about the size you chose? will it impact your career?
  • How do I find a reputable tattoo artist or studio?

  • Is there anything I can do to prepare for my appointment?
    Absolutely! -Leading up to your appointment you can research relative tattoos and reference images to bring with you. -bring a friend, headphones, or conversation to help take your mind off the tattoo. Food and drinks are allowed as well. -Avoid alcohol the day before. Take a shower, drink lots of fluids, and eat a healthy meal the day of. You can shave the area if you like, otherwise the artist will do this before starting the tattoo. -Do not plan on going to the beach or sitting in the sun for at least two weeks after getting a tattoo
  • Can I bring a friend?
    Of course! It is encouraged to bring someone as this helps ease any anxiety. At Tattoo Humanity there is plenty of seating and visibility to be a part of the process. Children are welcome as well. This is a God centered, family friendly shop, free of foul language. However, all wild children will be sold to the circus ; )
  • Is tattooing safe?
    Yes, when performed by a licensed and experienced artist in a sterile environment and the use of drugs and alcohol are prohibited.

We cannot tattoo over moles in case they ever need a biopsy. Scars must be aged. Jaundice is a no. Pregnant is a big NO. Nursing should be avoided but is at the discretion of you and your physician.

    Yes, through methods such as laser removal, dermabrasion, or surgical excision. Laser removal is the most common method, which breaks down tattoo ink using high-intensity light pulses. It can take several sessions and typically requires some patience.
  • Is tattoo removal painful?
    Laser removal can cause discomfort similar to the sensation of getting a tattoo. It is typically more painful but a much faster process sometimes under 60 seconds per session.

At Tattoo Humanity, small tattoos start at $100, while larger pieces may cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. At Tattoo Humanity however, we try not to focus on hourly price as much as we do quality of work. This means you really get what you pay for. We work hard for our money and we understand that goes both ways. That said, there will be an estimated price range provided with your initial inquiry.
  • About the drawing process
    All the info you submit is gone over before your appointment and any necessary preparation is done beforehand. The day of, we will sit down together and complete the design either on skin or on iPad. We will be able to go over all design options edits and refinement together in order to give you the best customer experience we can offer.
  • Can the tattoo artist help me design my tattoo?
    Absolutely, we offer consultation services to help clients create a unique and personalized design. At Tattoo Humanity you can expect a full in person consultation during your tattoo appointment where we can create your next tattoo together. If there is a need for a separate consultation before your appointment that can be a scheduled 30 minute in person appointment or Zoom call.
  • What if I change my mind about the design before getting the tattoo?
